The MoleSafe® Skin Surveillance Program is the newest technology for complete skin-mapping designed to track changes in your skin over time. Now available in Kenilworth, the MoleSafe service includes total body photography and imaging of all significant moles for expert Dermatologist diagnosis.
MoleSafe's Newest Service Protocol:
- Baseline Set of Total Body Photographs:
This set is done to establish a comprehensive visual record of the patient's skin condition at the start. - Follow-Up Set of Photographs (6 months later):
A second set of photographs is taken 6 months after the baseline, ensuring that any changes in moles or skin spots are clearly documented. - Proprietary Software Analysis:
The images are analyzed using MoleSafe’s proprietary software, which identifies and flags any changes between the baseline and follow-up images. - Potential Biopsy Recommendation:
If the software detects significant changes in any skin areas, a biopsy may be recommended to further investigate the possibility of skin cancer or other dermatological conditions.
Service Cost:
- Price: $249 for the full service, which includes both the baseline and follow-up image sessions within the first year.
- Insurance Coverage: This service is not covered by insurance, so patients would need to pay out-of-pocket for the full cost.
