Dr. Richard Urbanek has been practicing dermatology for nearly four decades. He received his M.D. from Cornell Medical College and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Urbanek served as the Director of Dermatology at the Staten Island University hospital between 1989 and 2007. He recently received recognition for 35 years as a clinical professor at NYU, and was also honored by the American Cancer Society for for his efforts against the disease. He has formulated his own line of therapies to meet the specific needs of his patients. Dr. Urbanek gains tremendous satisfaction when his formulations result in significant improvement for those he treats.
When not practicing dermatology, Dr. Urbanek enjoys swimming, tennis, golf and biking with his yellow lab Maxie.
