Kristie Walton, FNP-BC is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and joined Metropolitan Dermatology in 2018. She trained extensively alongside Dr. Doctoroff, gaining firsthand experience in the full scope of dermatologic care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatments.

Kristie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey and went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University. She has over five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with the majority of that time spent working at Clara Maas Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.

After completing her clinical rotation in dermatology with Dr. Alex Doctoroff, Kristie realized how she could significantly impact people’s lives by treating skin conditions with a high success rate.  She truly enjoys caring for patients of all ages but takes a special interest in providing comprehensive treatment plans for acne.

Kristie also offers a variety of cosmetic services, including Botox, fillers, microneedling, and PRP, just to name a few.  Her calming demeanor and focus on her patients’ comfort level contributes to the best possible outcomes as she takes pride in helping to restore her patients’ confidence and youthful appearance.

Kristie believes not just in educating her patients, but also in her own ongoing education.  She is an active member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Dermatology Nurses Association.  In her free time, Kristie enjoys exercising, running, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and her dog Leo.
