Deborah (“Deb”) Pontoriero is an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse with nearly 40 years of clinical experience and more than a decade dedicated exclusively to dermatology. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy skin through personalized, evidence-based care and believes that patient education is the foundation of successful treatment.

Deb graduated from Germantown Hospital School of Nursing in 1980, earned her bachelor’s degree from Stockton State College in 1989, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 while working at Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey.

Since transitioning from primary care to dermatology, Deb has developed extensive experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, warts, skin infections, and other common dermatologic concerns. She also performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and works closely with patients on prevention, early detection, and long-term skin health.

Committed to staying at the forefront of dermatologic medicine, Deb is an active member of both the American Nurses Association and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. She regularly attends continuing education programs and national dermatology conferences to remain current on the latest research, treatments, and technologies, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care.

Known for her compassionate approach and attentive listening, Deb takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns and develop individualized treatment plans that fit their needs and lifestyle. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care.

Outside the office, Deb enjoys spending time with her four children and seven grandchildren, who are the center of her life and bring her endless joy.
