Svetlana “Lana” Chehet is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Lana holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University with an Honors Concentration. Lana began her career in medicine as a Critical Care Registered Nurse serving critically ill patients for over 20 years and transitioned to dermatology in 2014. As a Nurse Practitioner, Lana specializes in medical dermatology and treats a wide range of conditions with individuals with ages ranging from infancy to late adulthood. Lana strives to establish long-lasting relationships through clear communication and a holistic medical approach that considers each individual patient in a unique way. Lana aspires to educate her patients in understanding their skin conditions and treatment goals, in addition to promoting life-long healthy skin habits. She is proficient in English, Hebrew, and Russian.
When she is away from the office, Lana enjoys spending time staying active by walking her favorite nature trails, exercising or doing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
