A native of Union County, Dr. Eisenberg has practiced dermatology in Watchung for 35 years and presently serves as Section Chief of Dermatology at Overlook Hospital.  He graduated summa cum laude with special distinction in biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was a Benjamin Franklin scholar who completed the University General Honors Program.

Dr. Eisenberg earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1982, where he received multiple awards including the Dean William Mecklenberg Polk award.  He completed his medical internship at NYU-Bellevue Medical Center and completed his Dermatology and Internal Medicine residencies at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Rockefeller University.  Dr. Eisenberg is Board Certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine.

Professionally, he has received the Castle and Connolly award for Best Doctors in the New York Metropolitan area, NJ Monthly and Inside Jersey best doctors award and has been selected to Who’s Who. His clinical expertise is in Medical Dermatology focusing on skin cancer prevention.

Dr. Eisenberg is married and his favorite time is spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.  He also enjoys going to the gym, walking, theatre, reading, and sports (particularly when the Giants win!)
